Welaratne Terrazzo is a family owned company and was established in the 1970's by Bandu Welaratne in Pepiliyana. Bandu was one of the pioneers to start the Terrazzo flooring business in Sri Lanka.
In the 1980's, Bandu continued his innovative and forward thinking and was the first to bring Cut Cement (Titanium flooring) to Sri Lanka.
